

Marchart won a gold medal with Hobart's top boat at the conference championship regatta three times and won a gold medal at the NIRC regatta as a first-year. He was named to three Liberty League Crews of the Year. On the water, Marchart was a member of the varsity eight in each of his four years on campus. In March, Marchart along with William Kline '23 and Brendon Bennett '23 won the Todd Feldman '89 and Family Pitch contest for their biomaterials company Fibrworks. At the 2021 Blackwell-Hale Academic Achievement Awards celebration, he was inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society as a junior. On campus, Marchart was inducted into the Druid, Chimera, and Orange Key honor societies, the three major Hobart honor societies. He was a three-time Liberty League and IRA all-academic selection and was named an IRCA Scholar-Athlete and NIRC All-Academic twice. Marchart wracked up the academic awards during his four seasons.

He was a double minor in mathematics and Mandarin. Marchart graduated magna cum laude in May with a bachelor's degree in economics.

The Scholar-Athlete Award is given to the athlete with the strongest combination of academic and athletic accomplishments. Marchart is the first Statesman to win the award. Hobart College senior rower Mo Marchart was named the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
